30799: Brand Registration: Unable to verify registration details

What this error means

The registry couldn't verify the brand details as a whole, the catch-all identity-verification failure.

Causes, most likely first

  1. Business registration number invalid, or legal company name doesn't match the registration record (US: EIN must match legal name exactly).
  2. An SSN was submitted where an EIN is required.
  3. Canadian/foreign government ID unverifiable, or legal name doesn't match the ID.
  4. Stock exchange/ticker unverifiable for the legal name, or exchange unrecognised.
  5. Government selected for a non-US-government entity.

How to fix it

If your numbers are managed by a platform

If your numbers sit inside a reseller platform, for example LeadConnector numbers inside GoHighLevel, you do not have access to the Twilio Console, and the interface shows the rejection without the code. Ask that platform's support team for the Twilio rejection error code, in writing, before you change anything. The substance of the fix is yours to make: the business details, the website, and the opt-in flow described in the Twilio path all belong to you, not to the platform. Make those changes first, confirm they are live, then ask support to resubmit. A resubmission filed before the underlying facts change will fail again on the same reason.

If you own the Twilio account

Update business_registration_identifier and legal company name so they match your tax/registration documents, for US companies, an EIN matching the legal name exactly. For public brands, correct stock_exchange and stock_ticker. For government/nonprofit, set the Trust Hub and brand values to the required company_type before resubmitting. If the data is genuinely correct and it still fails, contact Twilio Support.

Timing and resubmission

No review window, but counts against the three self-service brand resubmissions. Exhaust those and it becomes a Support case.
