Error code

30963: Campaign rejected: public URL shortener detected in campaign

Not eligible for resubmission. Stated by: GHL 155000007572; Twilio page.

What this error means

Public link shorteners appear in campaign content.

Causes, most likely first

  1. Public shortener links in sample messages, bit.ly, tinyurl.com, t.co, ow.ly and similar.
  2. Shortened URLs in the campaign description or use-case fields.
  3. A custom domain that functions as a redirect service, behaving like a public shortener.

How to fix it

If your numbers are managed by a platform

There is no correct-and-resubmit path for this code. The rejection is terminal for the campaign as submitted. If your numbers sit inside a reseller platform such as LeadConnector inside GoHighLevel, ask that platform's support team for the rejection code in writing so you have it on record, then treat the remedy below as the only route.

The remedy is a new brand and a new campaign built on a use case that does not fall in the prohibited category. Editing this campaign and resubmitting it will not clear the rejection.

If you own the Twilio account

Not eligible for resubmission. Replace all shortened URLs with full destination URLs on your own branded domain before registering a new campaign. Branded short domains owned and operated by your business (e.g. yourcompany.link) are generally acceptable. Contact Support if you believe it's an error.

Timing and resubmission

Not eligible for resubmission, unlike 30892. Get links right on the first submission.
