Error code

30941: Campaign rejected: Prescription drug or controlled substance content detected

Not eligible for resubmission. Stated by: GHL 155000007572; Twilio page.

What this error means

Prescription drug marketing or controlled-substance content.

Causes, most likely first

  1. Direct-to-consumer prescription drug advertising.
  2. Online pharmacy or mail-order prescription promotion.
  3. References to availability, pricing or distribution of DEA-classified controlled substances.

How to fix it

If your numbers are managed by a platform

There is no correct-and-resubmit path for this code. The rejection is terminal for the campaign as submitted. If your numbers sit inside a reseller platform such as LeadConnector inside GoHighLevel, ask that platform's support team for the rejection code in writing so you have it on record, then treat the remedy below as the only route.

The remedy is a new brand and a new campaign built on a use case that does not fall in the prohibited category. Editing this campaign and resubmitting it will not clear the rejection.

If you own the Twilio account

Not eligible for resubmission. Note the documented exception: transactional messages such as prescription refill reminders from a licensed pharmacy to existing patients may be permissible under a different campaign use case. Contact Support if you believe the rejection was in error.

Timing and resubmission

Not resubmittable as filed. A differently-scoped campaign is a new registration.

Two ways forward
