Error code
30703: Brand Registration Failure: Duplicate record detected
What this error means
TCR already has a brand using one of the identifying values you submitted, and it enforces those as unique.
Causes, most likely first
- Agency reuses its own contact details across client brands, the classic cause. Rep phone, email, or website belonging to the agency rather than the client.
- Business legal name already registered.
- Business registration identifier (EIN) already used.
- Mobile phone number already used for a US A2P brand.
- Website URL already registered.
- Stock symbol already registered (public entities only).

How to fix it
If your numbers are managed by a platform
If your numbers sit inside a reseller platform, for example LeadConnector numbers inside GoHighLevel, you do not have access to the Twilio Console, and the interface shows the rejection without the code. Ask that platform's support team for the Twilio rejection error code, in writing, before you change anything. You can also read it yourself from your browser, which is faster: see how to get the code.
The substance of the fix is yours to make: the business details, the website, and the opt-in flow described in the Twilio path all belong to you, not to the platform. Make those changes first, confirm they are live, then ask support to resubmit. A resubmission filed before the underlying facts change will fail again on the same reason.
If you own the Twilio account
TCR enforces uniqueness on: mobile phone number, business registration identifier, business legal name, authorised representative's phone, email address, website, and stock symbol. The error message names which field collided. Supply a genuinely unique value for that field, the client's own phone, the client's own email on the client's domain, the client's own site. A second brand on the same EIN is a compliance flag, not a workaround.
Timing and resubmission
No waiting period, but you cannot resubmit the same values and expect a different outcome. Changing the colliding field and resubmitting is immediate. Do not resolve it by registering a duplicate brand under the same EIN.
Two ways forward
Have it handled for you
A2P registration is handled for you on Growth at $597/mo and on Scale at $1,197/mo. Registration, resubmissions, and the compliance work behind them are included.
Fix it yourself
Send your email and we will send the fix playbook for registration rejections.
