What this error means
Political messaging needs a Campaign Verify token and yours is missing, malformed or mismatched.
Causes, most likely first
- 527 political organisation selected

VettingIdincomplete, malformed, case-mismatched or expired. - Token doesn't match the political organisation named in the submission.
- Filed without the required political vetting details at all.
How to fix it
If your numbers are managed by a platform
If your numbers sit inside a reseller platform, for example LeadConnector numbers inside GoHighLevel, you do not have access to the Twilio Console, and the interface shows the rejection without the code. Ask that platform's support team for the Twilio rejection error code, in writing, before you change anything. The substance of the fix is yours to make: the business details, the website, and the opt-in flow described in the Twilio path all belong to you, not to the platform. Make those changes first, confirm they are live, then ask support to resubmit. A resubmission filed before the underlying facts change will fail again on the same reason.
If you own the Twilio account
Get a valid Campaign Verify token for the organisation before resubmitting. Via API, set VettingProvider to CAMPAIGN_VERIFY and pass the full token in VettingId, including every pipe-delimited field, exactly as issued. Confirm it's still valid and registered to the same entity. In Console, supply the token when prompted. Resubmit within the edit window if eligible.
Timing and resubmission
Correctable, but gated on obtaining the token, which is an external process with its own lead time. Seven-day priority window will usually expire first.
